Honduras Customs performs revision and updating processes bulk import terminal in Honduras Specialized


San Pedro Sula, 12 February 2020- In order to simplify procedures by automating customs processes, representatives of the Customs Administration of Honduras with officials of the Specialized Terminal of Honduras (TEH) perform the review and updating process import of organic products in bulk cargo terminal, located on the premises of the National Port Company (ENP) in Puerto Cortes.

What is sought is to establish mechanisms for facilitating processes by working together that allows simplify, optimize, improve customs controls and security in the loading and unloading of bulk goods in the Specialized Honduras (TEH) Terminal.

Alejandro Ayala, National Manager Formalities Customs, said “Honduras is aiming to become the logistics center of the region, which is why the process must be efficient, without losing customs control, because this is done at present verification thereof for the entry and exit of goods, allowing the importer ease and confidence to the desaduanar their products in less time. “

The deposit bulks of Honduras Specialized terminal is the entry point of the organic products, including grains: corn, wheat, rice, soybean, among others. For these facilities moves 90 percent of bulk products arriving in the country, raising the competitiveness of Puerto Cortes.
